If Douglas4 has a hill close by, then just ignore the club. Nearly any simple airplane makes a good trainer off the slope. Only real instruction has to do with not going downwind, and having a landing area at the bottom!
Hey, I've heard that term in Toronto too!

Don't give up Douglas! You're on the right track asking for help here!

slope or 2m glider...?

ive narrowed it down to 2 gliders. the spirit by great planes or the easy star by multiplex. I was gonna go powered aircraft but with the battery charging and breaking props and prop shafts and motors and firewalls breaking. "eek" i like the simplicity of the gliders. nice and quiet etc. you guys know what im talking about. i was looking at www.leadingedgegliders.com and hey some nice stuff. slopers look good too and the epp foam thing appeals to me. i just recently bought the axe cp heli from helimax to feed my heli addiction and like of rotary craft. but ive always fancied gliders too. :D
