Just getting back into nitro after a long absence, so dug out this motor from very long-term storage.

Replaced the ring and bearings and was bolting it back together when I realized there was no head gasket when I took it apart. Not sure, but I seem to remember every other O.S. I had back in the day had one.

Anyone have that gasket? An exploded parts list would be nice, but not absolutely necessary.

Also, any idea of what plug this took?

The "gasket" is a soft aluminum ring. It is probably stuck in the recess where the top of the sleeve goes. It can be picked out with a pin or exacto blade. Removing it will destroy it so do not remove it unless it is damaged. If it looks clean and smooth, use it as is.
