Fuel for Raptor 30 V1

Hello,

I searched and nothing came up... I use Morgan fuels in my nitro off road trucks. I want to use Morgan fuel in my Raptor 30 V1, but, I am undecided on using the Cool Power or Omega, 15% nitro & 17% oil. Is there a difference? If so, what are the advantages/disadvantages to both?

Thoughts and suggestons, please...

Thanks,

Gordon

Coolpower, works very well and leaves minimal deposits. 15% is good general nitro value most people use in a 30.

There's a discussion here that may be helpful.

Quote:
If your LHS supplies Coolpower, do they supply Omega. Both Morgan Fuels. The Omega has 30% Castor / 70% Synthetic.
Coolpower 100% synthetic.
There's also a reasonable amount of discussion - typical forum opinions. Read it through and you might get a reasonable picture.

There's tons of info out there on fuel. Check RC Groups' nitro forums, RC Universe, Helifreak and RunRyder for starters. Do a search on fuel, Omega and/or CoolPower.

Persoanlly, I have run CoolPower 15% and am now changing to CoolPower 30%. Works great in my OS 50 Hyper/MP2.

agreed. i used to run cool power 15% in my 32 and it was fine. ran it for awhile in my hyper but now im running 25% and i'll be switching to 30% later in the season.

i like cool power, but if you cant get it there is no reason why you cant run omega.
