Does your truck even know it's back there?

I bought it off "Boyder" (sp) from RC canada....no, truck barely feels it, I was wondering weather I even need to select the towing button pulling something this light? Are you in the market for a trailer?

Might be as I am suppose to be getting a company vehicle again but they are talking car!

If so then I wil NEED a trailer so I am kinda torn as to wether a car would be a bad or good thing as mini-vans are just so handy.

Now if the would get me a FORD F250 or better yet a 350 it would be no contest but they are talking Hyundai.

Agreed Jimbo...3/4 or 1 tonne would be aaaaawesome man have I become a red neck....question though, if company gets you a little girly car, is it going to be able to pull a trailer?
just askin....

In all seriousness, I am thinking of putting a hitch on the wife's jetta...way cheaper on gas obviously, being a diesel....just got to check out the performance and make sure I don't ruin the trany...I think it should be ok though. and yes, we are off topic...but most RC types seem to have "A.D.D." I've noticed...so what else is new.

Re: Going stir crazy !!!!!!!

I'm pulling my trailer with a Toyota Yaris LOL. Your Jetta diesel is a freight train compared to a little Yaris.
Did a lot of studying on all of this before I bought the trailer. Check what the Gross vehicle weight limit is for the Jetta. As long as you don't exceed that with the combined weight of the car, trailer, cargo and passengers. You are good to go.
With my Yaris, the trailer, planes and myself ( myself being a big one LOL ) I am just under the limit. I can squeeze in one more plane next year
Its a short drive to the field for me so no worries. I hope to have a bigger vehicle soon that I can use for longer distances like Flying Tigers and Ottawa.
