Hey Mr Valves,

I am going to give it a go on the stock mufflers. They sound very different then when Trevor ran the da200 on stock mufflers.
I think it has something to do with the 2 into 1 setup and their larger internal volume. If it gets to obnoxious, i can add cans or pipes later. The fuselage will have the tunnel and mounts in there in case.

LOL Using Titebond III for the wing panels.,Don't know why... just am.
I used the aerobond for the ailerons. And will use it again in the fuselage

1st upper wing panel is underway

Got the sheeting layed out on its foam shuck.
Thats one area where this plane differs from Trevor's Pitts.
The wings of the Pitts had tabs and jigs for building them.

This plane has you lay the full sheet over a curved foam shuck, and then build the pars and ribs on the sheeting.

First step was to glue the center spar and trailing edge spar onto the sheet. There are precut holes in the sheeting and tabs on the spars that align everything where they need to be.

Once they were glued down, I set them under weight so everything could dry nice and straight.
Last shot shows the spars glued down.

Next step is to glue one of the Carbon spars into the joint of where the main spar and sheeting meet.
I laid down a good bead of glue and pressed the carbon rod into it.
Then rolled the rod in the glue to make sure it had good coverage.

Next step is to glue in the plywood ribs. These are the ribs in the root area that support the wing tube and allignment pins. Also the couple of ribs that support the servos and the inter wing struts.

So once they were all glued and pinned, they were placed under weight to keep everything straight. Once they are dried, I will glue in the remaining balsa ribs and the second carbon support spar.

Brad if you want email me your address and I will send you off some good quality prop bolts for your new engine. I don't trust the 8.8 spec Chinese ones. I bought a box of 12.9 ones so I have lots. The only place in town that had them only sold by the box.
