Hi David .

Is your board in a case ? The reason I ask is that the barograph needs to be protected from and sudden changes in air pressure like wind. If you don't have a case then find the baro on the board and cover it with some foam and tape to prevent wind gusts from throwing it off . It is easy to find as it is up and left of the tip of the arrow . It is silver with 2 tiny holes in it.

Re: Trouble with APM 2.5/Scorpion ESC's not compatible with Mulit-Rotors??

Yup, tried the MW in case, with foam, combined etc. and never achieved what this board does right out of the gate just inside the plastic case. MW always seemed to be a compromise between ineffective and oscillating and I couldn't move around without it losing altitude.I was flying this around last night with quite a bit of speed and it never changed so much a couple inches altitude.

Just loving how APM peroforms!!

Re: Trouble with APM 2.5/Scorpion ESC's not compatible with Mulit-Rotors??

OH YEAH!!

Really having a kick with multirotors these days. I really like the things that technology has brought us in the last several years.

Got the second 450 frame in the air tonight. I must say this MW Pro is the best MW board I have used so far. Alt. Hold is actually decent. I guess even though it has the same barometer the 2560 processes things better than the 328

Hi David.

Wait till you try the Naze 32 Fun Fly or full function board . The GPS function is more or less for data logging ,but for everything else it flies great . You can have multi functions like Acro , self level , altitude hold, super simple heading hold mode , and you can buy it here in Canada from Great Hobbies. https://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/imag...icon_peace.gif

Re: Trouble with APM 2.5/Scorpion ESC's not compatible with FC board/APM good with EM

Weather was pretty good +3deg and light wind 6-8km/h so I took the APM 450 out in the back yard. First time flying it a full flight outside. Got the blood pumping. Will need more tuning as it gets a bit squirrely correcting for the wind.

Alt. hold seemed to jump a tiny bit, + an inch or two. I wonder if it needs foam inside the case with the wind blowing across the openings.

Wish it was really spring instead of goofy December weather.

Hi David .

Go to You Tube and look up Painless 360 video's on auto trimming ,and auto tuning using channel 7 . It makes it a lot easier .

Those are some great videos. I need to find an indoor place. Have been doing some "on the sly" during night-shift in the hangar at work but won't be on nights for a few months now.
