Personally I like the OS #8 plugs as well for all my two stroke engines. Don't care too much for Fox plugs or at least I haven't had much success with them on two strokes.

At the Kitchener scale rally about 3 years ago I purchased 6 WildCat Fuels glow plugs and they proved to be very good quality plugs but are about the same price as the OS and are harder to find. So I figured I might as well stick with the best and the easiest to get so its OS for me!

In my .15 sized engines (all OS) I actually use an OS A3 plug with great success.

All other 2 strokes have OS #8
All 4 strokes use the Hangar 9 for bench break in and the OS #F for flight.

The OS #8 resides in all my 2 strokes. My engines are from .50 to 2.10 size. Never skipped a beat.

Idle bar plugs like the K&B and fox do tyend to work better in the older style cross scavenged (non schneurle) engines. In a cl engine it doesnt much matter, but in an older rc engine with a baffled piston, they tend to keep the fire lit.

They dont seem to be needed in "modern" ported engines as the gas charge is delivered not directly at the glowplug.
