Thumbs up Re: Finally

I'm going to venture a guess that you didn't pay for that with CTC money, nor did you get the instructions to operate it off of a cerial box.

That is a SERIOUS piece of hardware!

I don't know what you intend to make with it - but I know it'll be great! and your services will NOT come cheap!

Good luck in your next project!

Re: Finally

Actually it was most reasonable. Needed some work and a good going over as well as cleaning. The CNC software is quite a bit older than I am used to so I have the manual and I am working on getting used to the programming.

Once cleaned and ready to run I turned everything on and hit the home button and it cycled just like it’s supposed to do. I am pleased with it so far I will know better once I start to use it.

It even comes with an engraving program which is a bonus.

I bought it for myself so when I retire I do not have to ask someone to make something for me.

I only intend to do work for others to pay for tooling as it needs to be replaced.

Re: Finally

That's a grand old chestnut for sure. I had the same thing posted on my model railroad years ago.
