I have no issues with the DX 3.0 so far...much better than stock. The best thing about it is the short antennae's.....next would be the actual control of the vehicle,,I noticed a huge differance over stock using the same servos...if you are a competitive racer I'm sure there are better radios to have but for construction site championship the DX 3.0 is plenty of radio IMHO

ive ran the dx 3.0 and the dx3. awesome radios, lots of on site tweaking availibility, loads of features, on board battery for model settings which is supposed to be good for five years and a wheel adjusting screw for turning tension.
hefty price tags, but i got my dx3 for a personall transponder and 20 bucks. my dx 3.0 went with my m18 xray and got me a 1/8 scale kyosho buggy.

people love these radios! and if they dont, they sell em cheap.
cant beat that.
airtronics just came out with a new m3 spectrum based TX

My older style Spectrum DX2.0 didn't have this problem, if you looked at my throttle servo while changing position on the throttle trigger it had a full range of stop and go motion, Carb opened and closed very smoothly. Your setup may have been binding?
I never had interference issues with my DX2.0, although the TX antenna did break at the pivoting joint, and is held together with tape. I've also heard you can swap out something on the circuit board (capacitor i think?) for a much higher quality one (only a few dollars), and get triple the battery life... I'll see if I can dig up the link.

I think your missunderstanding me, I didn't mean it actually only had a few positions, but thats how it felt to me because of the throttle curve built into the radio, and this was in an electric car that I noticed it the most, so where can a set up be binding in that? it was a race I forgot my radio, and borrowed a friends DX3 TX, no set up changes, the week before with my 3PK the car ran perfect, the week with the DX3 I couldn't drive the car if my life depended on it, the week after I think I won the race again, plus if you knew me youd know I never have any binding in any of my set ups, I'm pretty particular about that,

everyone has their own opinions, and I personally really dont like the feel of the old spektrum radios, enough that I wont let my dad stock them in his store, there are budget Futaba and Airtronics DSM systems that are far better IMO, and I know my dad started out with the DX2 in his buggy, and with it set up identical to mine, even I could hardly drive the thing, and he always complained about it being really loose coming out of the corner, then he switched to a 3PK, and problem solved, didn't touch anything else on the car,
