hello guys !

i plan to use a 4.8V 1400 mah NiCad on my DA50 ignition. it is enough

Desert Aircraft recommend to use a 900 mah or larger pack. i prefer to use Nicad's because i can fast charged at the field.

That battery should give you a couple hours of run time easy!

I have pretty much standardized on 1400 mah packs for both RX and engine ignition use,and this size will run your gasser for many hours.I have used as little as 600 which will work just not as long.
Whats the worst that can happen? The engine will give you a little warning by running rough as the battery runs out and you may have to dead stick.
I ran one flat on purpose once just to see what happens...........
