To close off the night, here are some pictures of the rails!!

The 4 tabs are epoxied onto the basswood rails and I put an extra thickness of 1/8" ply for the blind nuts and on the inside a thickness of 1/32" ply to create that inset so that the canopy comes out flush with the fuse sides.

Nothing worse than a tab that comes off when everything is bolted up, so I also pin with some CF rod

6-32 bolts and blind nuts do the trick and I've countersunk the holes on the outside of the fuse so the heads are flush with the fuse sides

Lastly, some balsa crossbraces!!



Not done yet - those rails definitely need to be lightened!!!! ...... Unexceptable
