Excuse my lack of knowledge here but is there to be a vote for the IMAC Chapter 401 representitive each year? And if so, how and when is this to be done?

Sorry but I hadn't heard anything about this before! I just assumed that the last person voted in or who accepted the job as rep remained such until he resigned or the group as a whole called for a vote for a new one! Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Given that Bob and myself were both founding members of Chapter 401, we have agreed that we are "BOTH" IMAC Chapter 401 Reps. There never has been a voting process for chapter reps.

Lets move on to more productive topics, instead of beating this one to death over and over again.

Sorry Mike, I had thought that what you said was the case and was wondering why we had to have a vote as I had never heard of this before, thus the reason for my reply to the post! Thanks for clearing that up.....again!

If I can clarify things a bit,

Mike had let his IMAC membership lapse for the better part of 6 or 8 weeks when Randy made this statement on May 18th.

Randy picked up on this when he did not see Mikes IMAC number in his RCCanada signatures for qute some time lately.

I guess Randy posed this question because he was currious how a non IMAC member could be an IMAC Rep.

Mike renewed his IMAC membership on May 18th.

Bob is quite correct.

With the exception of that short time span, I have been a paid IMAC member for the past 7 or 8 years.

For a variety of legitimate reasons, [I will keep these to myself] I have been sitting on the fence sort of speak, as to whether to renew my membership or not.

Having said that, I came to the conclusion I was better able to serve my fellow Canadian SA flyers, from the inside looking out, [as an IMAC member] than from the outside looking in.

Again, lets put this issue to rest, and move on.
