Serpent Onboard Video

Hey guys, here's one of many videos I recorded last Sunday. It gets pretty fuzzy after the straight, but there's a lot of good parts where you can hear it shifting and watch the wall of rocks wip by.

http://www.bbmp.ca/files/video/Serpent_Impact_cam.avi (74.1M)

If it doesn't work, try updating your DIVX at http://www.divx.com

You can also see the pics taken:

Chris:

Cool! But a little hard to watch. Too bad your camera quit.

I think the battery went dead. Cause it went off wayyyy before the flips in the 2nd video. Also next time I should position the Rx much closer and centered. The video looked great at the beginning of the straight.

I like the one with the corner dot stuck to the front of Dave's car.

The chassis was jammed in between two layers of the plywood. Really had to tug on it to get them apart.

Those dots are taking a bashing. Geoff was launching some of them WAY up in the air! His new chassis was all orange!

I think that we may want to look at replacing them with something else......... the rope seemed to be ok.

Yeah, having a low battery would account for the way teh camera acted. Hopefully that was the only problem.

The camera works! I checked it today. It didn't power up when I 1st tryed it. Then I pluged it in for about 20 seconds and it came alive.

I finally wired up a DC only solution to power the entire system. I can keep the camera topped up between runs now.
