Fergie will be sending mods for customers as we are the Canadian Repair center. You can request your mod goes straight to your door instead.
I am thinking of sending the eastern mafia the mods together and the rest of the engine mod parts to Pro-Rc directly.
It will be a little while until the reed block is in our hand because he has to make them.

LOL!!! Excited to see the rebuttle to the 6lb comment! Should be a good one!!

In the meantime, word has it that MVVS is upgrading their distribution trucks that deliver to the LHS's

Something tells me they know their engines are big

After all, their track record really isn't that great on that particular engine. Fergie would have gone broke replacing cylinders.

Anyone think there'll be a new crankcase design coming as well?
I don't think so.
They took 2.5 weeks to announce the fix because they needed to fly fly fly the fix in three aircraft before claiming a fix.

There is about sixty gp 123 motors still running without problems and some of them with over 150 flights on them. Mine has 48 flights plus 5 gal of fuel for break in and runs like a top. Idles at 900 rpm and you can smash the throttle to full and back without hesitation

When they come out we will put them in and see. I will put mine in and fly all winter to test.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Well Dale, seems the Eastern Mafia are finally making an attempt at derailing your perfect thread!

They don't like our extra heavy engines. so I'll clean this mess up!

First off they test every engine that's been available in the last 3 years, once the testing is done you can be guaranteed of some key words like: "buttermilk smooth" "really unloads in the air" "smoothest idle" "sweetest sound" etc. etc etc. You guys have read them too!!

Then all of a sudden the swing shifts from maximum rpm to...no...wait a second...midrange is better...we love this new engine now

So as it stands, I'll keep the extra 6 lbs...because they swing the "man sized props"...not like the and their "cox sized props"!!
