I am having problem correctly working up piano wires(rods) from retract servo to retracts, i haven't bend these wires but when i got this GP Siptfire ARF these were already installed but right retract was not working properly!, but now both are not working correctly!, both retracts get locked in tracted position but when i retract them they dont hold gears all the way into wheel wells, gear are left partically hanging!.

I tried few different servos are settings but none worked, it seems that eihter lenght of piano wires are short or over lengthened previously by some one...

Hey Ryan once you leave, that's it you've lost your East Coast status. There are so many people on the waiting list we can't hold your place.

I think your refering to what I know as Maritime Hobbies and Crafts and yes it is still in Halifax. I think this is the 60th year. I bought my first radio there in 1985, a Futaba 6 channel Conquest ( still got it somewhere ) I paid $450.00 for it in '85. A lot of money back then.

I know Woodside very well, did a lot of work around there before I took the job "up here" in 1992.

Sammy, did you get your retracts retracting ?

Thank god i am not east coaster, man they are funny people at times....

No not yet, may be in day or so, i talked to couple other people and both said these mechanical retracts take alot mechanics to work properly and for that require alot of time aslo in first setting up....

I will keep you posted as i progress along....

Are you using a Retract Servo? If not get one it makes the set up much easier and you don't have to worry about stalling a servo and killing your battery.
