TAFT 90mm 11 blade fan with Cyclone Power IR600 1650-50 motor

I just dynamically balanced and ran the TAFT 9011 in a FW 90mm metal shroud using a Cyclone Power IR 600 1650-50 motor (1650kv inrunner).
The wattmeter readings were as follows,
2340watts 108amps peak
2140watts 103amps settled
2044watts 100amps at storage voltage

This was running low or zero timing and 8pwm powered by a 5600mah 30C 6S lipo in good condition.

At 472g it is not exactly light but the motor is completely happy pulling over 100amps without getting hot.
The rotor blades had to be sanded down slightly to fit the shroud. The motor shaft was on the short side so I roughened it up and used locktite with the TAFT collet adapter. The rotor tended to slip on the adapter so a sandpaper washer was glued to the adapter back stop. The adapter also had a slot cut into it so the rotor nut could be tightened properly. First the rotor was statically balanced needing a little epoxy inside the hub. The rotor was clocked to smoothest running position. Then the spinner was clocked and some small pieces of duct tape were used to dynamically balance it to perfection. The tape was placed inside the spinner after finding the correct placement.
Quite an easy setup to dynamically balance and the sound is decent. Not as whooshy as the Changesun 12 blade but still decent.
