Of the 96 racers at the 5th Annual "Sprucewood Invitational" only one racer showed up with a 2wd 1/10 scale truck! I was expecting to have a seperate class for them as I thought they would have been more popular.

But I agree at the big US races I have been to there is a much larger turnout!

I like the idea of a 2wd 1/10 scale truck class, as I run a Rush (when I can get out). Only got into RC mid summer last year and did manage to get out to King once late last August, burned up the slipper pads and didn’t make it back before Dave closed.

But this summer, hope to be out a lot more, and looking forward to this location as well.

The 8 foot wide lanes are a MUST especially if it is going to be big enough for 30 - 60 second lap times... I'd way have at least 1000 feet of track... if not 1500... that would make for some fun running!

As far as 60 minute mains go, usually that's only the A-Main I think at big races.. then it drops to 45 for B/C 30 for D/E then 15 mins everything else.. that's of course depending on how many people etc... 60 is a long time no doubt... might want to start off with like 30 and get people used to it! I know I would fade out before the end of a 60 minute...

But if you get the track up and running I would love to come out!

Would be running:

1/8th Buggy
Open Monster Truck
Maybe small block monster truck (may end up with a Revo or something)

If the track was good and people were showing up I would get something to run with what ever every one else is running though...
