I found something that could potenially work here http://www.rcfoam.com/product_info.p...4cfd0bc44fbda7

I just need to know how long and I could ream out the tube and turn the outside dia to suit
I will have look at that when I get home a bit later. I'm at a singing competition with my daughter.
Going to the next size up for the upper wing is easy. Its the lower wing and fuse that will be a little tougher. I have the aluminum wing tube. And the phenolics are in the wings. Its the phenolic to go across the fuselage that will require the most work.

I think I remember a certain someone bending the sticks on a beeeaaaaaauuuutiful Carden Edge at Kingston and being blown away by the 35% class

Now we... I mean you... have to work on him to get a 40% Edge as a build project

I've seen it done before where a piece of 1/32" plywood is wrapped around the wingtube, held tight with tape and glued with wood glue with a small overlap of 1/4" - seemed to work super well!! it was in an Aerotech Extra and he had been flying it for years!!

Re: 50% Exclusiv Modellbau Ultimate Bipe Build Thread

Got the ends sanded flush of the lower wings. The root doesn't call for being capped, but I may put a thin cap on later just to clean it up a bit.

The tips have nice caps that are router cut. I will install those later after I have the ailerons done and the wings are ready to be covered.
