Novak and MM

You can use a Novak motor with a MM. Some people have had no problems at all others have experienced minor cogging at low rpm. I tried an 8.5 with my MM and did have some cogging, but it only happened a few times.

Martin, is the 13.5 you have the sintered rotor?? I need a 13.5 and have an 8.5 with one run on it. Let me know aseaith@hotmail.com

Yes the mamba max esc will run the novak motors. Ive been doing it for a while now. In my Dark impact and in my Maxx crawler. Just tie off the sensor wires to keep them out of the way, and wire the rest just like normal. It works just fine just make sure you have the most updated software downloaded to your mamba max esc though. Mamba made updates to their programming to make this possible. earlier downloads will tend to cog on the novak motors.

But a novak esc will not run the mamba motors.
