Beat the winter blues cheaply
Here is a cool toy. Great fun at 80 bucks Canadian. It will even sharpen the skills of those learning to hover a helicopter. Best thing is you can't hurt the thing and it is soft enough it does not hurt anything. You cannot learn nose in with it or pedal turns but it does have a cyclic like feel to it.
If you want to hook your sons or daughters into helis this might be the scare free ticket. No batteries required as it runs off house current. The side of the machine has syncronized LEDs which can spell out a brief sentence and with several 32 character memories and with flashing borders if you like. It's called a "Vectron" and has a collective and cyclic stick. Stephen and Colin

Hi Colin,
sorry for not being clear. Now GH has two of these in the catalogue; neither with any information attached. One at $84.99 and one at $54.99 (ultralight model) A quick search of the web turns up the "Blackhawk" model; not sure if it's the same. Any idea where we can get more details? (well you're the one who brought it up ) Thanks Bob

I found a little info on a UK site http://www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk/blow...emote-ufo.html
There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there. I think this thing is fairly new on the market. |
