It should make a decent float plane, flying a plane on floats is kinda funny because the size of your plane looks to double with the adition of the floats so you may end up landing the plane a little further out then you might think. I have a Super Sportster on floats and it flew pretty well of the water and the look of a RC plane taking off and landing makes it worth it.

Huh ?????????

Most trainers make excellent floatplanes..if anything they are more stable due to the pendulum effect of the floats. Depending on your setup, take off can be the trickiest part...flying and landing are a piece of cake. It is best if you can team up with someone who is already flying floats in your area, and they can pass on some do's and don'ts.......
