I just use a 20 ga wire and double it up , the small silicon hose is fuel line from Glow engine, so it does not cut the larger hose . Then twist the wire, space the silicone hoses equal
around the muffler. To insert the muffler into the fiberglass sleeve i use some lube [armor all ]so the silicon slides .

Last picture is from my Taylor craft exhaust the tunnel is bigger so i have to use a larger hose

I never had that problem with them sliding the wire is pretty tight .I only use armor-all on the silicon peaces to make it easier to slide the mufflers into the tunnels [ just straight in don't twist them then you might damage the silicon ].

Re: RV-4 42%build thread

Tonight i made up the cockpit floor/ Roll bar and dash .
The Roll-bar is made out of Plastic tubing the dash i found on the web just printed it out and glued it to Depron. All white pieces are 3mm Depron and will be held in place with Magnets .
Once i got the pilot figure [in the Mail ] then i can fit him and paint the interior pieces .

Re: RV-4 42%build thread

On Friday i received the pilot and Fuel tank from Aircraft International.
The depron is held in place with magnets and the roll-bar is held in with screws inside the canopy .
Next step is to paint the parts.
