Any News yet if you awesome people from the Toronto RC Heli club will be putting on another event this year?

Have attended 3 of the meet's...And have seen the attendance drop? each year?
Sad to see as think there was a head count of over 1k on the first.

Is this a club member issue?
Although not a member of the club, did show Friday to help in the setup on 2 occasions...and if your able, why not come out to help? p.s. bring some batteries so you can get in a couple pre-flights.

Attendance Issue? Why a drop?
Last year was quit windy!!! Does that mean that we all can't still get together and have some fun? As still conceder myself a "trainee"
I had a flight or two... Hey I can Crash just fine on my own...Don't need the wind gusts....Did I No...
Did some .....Hell Yah...
And they were spectacular ones
But.... We all walked over to them and shook their hand, talked for a bit, and went on to watch and associate with the next person...
Isn't this hobby what it is all about?

Possibly a lack of funds to have the current pro's drop in and spend a weekend strutting their stuff to promote the brand they support or "fly" for.
Most don't relize they do this on thier own coin,,,
How can WE-ALL help?

Maybe show interest?
Don't be the one that stands in-line to purchase 100's of dollar's in ticket's, to try to win a prize that came out of the pocket of a sponser who "donated" that/those prizes to support the cause.
It's hard to show up early to an event when your from out of town.
But not hard to approach the people of the club putting the event on, And ask if there is anything you could do to help out.

It is events like IRCHA and the "club Crash" Events where I see all of us comming together and having fun.

Would be nice to see this toronto event be an annual event...Invited/wanna come crazy pilots show up because they want to attend the event...
Spend a few day's "welcomed" and attended to....

Think that is a small sacurfice for a weekend of meeting old friends, and new one's...
