I'll be heading down to Syracuse and then to the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York for the US Thanksgiving Weekend. I was wondering if anyone knows of some good hobby shops along the way? I'll be crossing from Ontario at the Thousand Islands Bridge and travelling down Interstate 81 south then picking up Interstate 90 west.
I'm in desperate need of a good place to spend some time while the girls hit the outlet malls

We stopped at this place in 2007 while we were visiting friends near there, when you walk in head up the stairs, all the RC stuff is upstairs. The Owners name is Greg.

This was a good Hobby shop when I went there. It's been quite a few years but the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. Not overly large but seemed to have good stuff.
