More help needed

Ok we got the kill switch working and fired up the Brisson 2.4 starts first flip after being primed. My next two problems appear to be a servo problem and maybe too many wires.
Ok problem one,is on the elevator. It has two servos ,when you activate the TX to make the elevator servos work The one servo has a kind of funny up and down travel boing boing after releasing the leaver on the radio. Its almost as if it was lightly spring loaded. There was some slop in the control linkages so I replaced them. It still does it . They are Futaba S3305 servos. The second problem I have is a chattering Rudder servo which I didn't have before I got my ignition kill switch working unless my TX was right under the plane.I am not saying it is the ignition kill switch but there are quite a lot of wires right around the rudder servo and wondering if this could cause the chatter. In fact the wiring in this area is quite messy. (came from previous owner like this and not sure if it can be corrected easily) Any

Oh and the batteries where fully charged

Would probably be better under electronics or large engines.

Sounds like interference problems between the engine circuit and receiver and servos. You want to keep the battery / switch / kill switch that feeds the engine ignition circuit as far away physically (8-10-12 inches) from the receiver / battery / switch that feeds the rest of the electronics.

Other possibilities are metal to metal contact generating radio interference ie throttle pushrod connections at the motor should never be through a metal clevis and metal pushrod or that will generate 'noise' interference. Or an unshielded spark plug cap, non-resistor spark plug, or frayed spark plug wire etc. Also long servo extensions with straight wires (as opposed to twisted wires) can cause problems, especially if running close beside and parallel to the receiver antenna.

Re: More help needed

I had a Brison 2.4 and the spark-plug boot was rubber, not grounded to the engine. So i used some metal snake shield material to extend the grounding from the cable to the engine. This stopped my ailerons from glitching while the engine was running (and I was using Spektrum).

Re: More help needed

The Brison ignition comes with a braided cable and a hose clamp. You must wrap this cable through the hose clamp and then clamp it around the hex on the spark plug. No other place will work 100 %. I have tried believe me and almost lost a plane because of it. Is your ground strap clamped to the spark plug????

Re: More help needed

I guess I should have said I have this problem of rudder servo glitching whether engine is running or not . The metal boot arond the spark plug has a metal hose clamp fastened to it. You are suggesting this should be grounded
