Thanks everyone for the comments.. I got it figured out...too many motors laying around and was using the wrong nut

Hey Marc, there are only two things that should ever enter the glow plug hole. The glow plug and or after run oil.

Glad you have it figured out and it's always wise to have a second nut or locking nut on a four stroke.

If you need to stop the piston you can put string down the hole. Put enough and you can take off the tightest thrust collar.
