Bashing spots in Toronto?

(Yes, I know Toronto is a big place )

I usually run my trucks in the park close to my house, but are their any non-commercial-track locations that groups of other hobbyists may frequent?

A bit of a long shot, but if there's someplace that I may have a 50/50 (or 25/75) chance of finding another RC'er on the weekends, I'm willing to drive out there and see.

If anyone else notices this post in the future, I've seen other RC's in Sherwood Park, a couple blocks NE of Yonge + Eglinton.

i'm in the same situation. i'm in etobicoke, and usually run around parks and school yards, or out back my work. bashing alone gets boring pretty quick though.
lemme know if you find anything

Re: Bashing spots in Toronto?

Richmond Green (Richmond Hill/Markham area) is a hot spot for RC bashing...the area next to the skate park...I used to go there almost every weekend last year during the summer, not so much this year...

i know people used to go there every Tuesday and Thursday evening as well...i might start doing that again...i'm really looking for indoor touring, but that's not easy, space is limited and expensive, LoL...

Re: Bashing spots in Toronto?

hummm, a thought just occurred to me. Anyone live near the Bayview Hill Community Center? I know the party rooms are pretty large there, so we could setup some decent indoor electric 1/10 touring tracks there. We could basically rent the room for the day. If anybody's interested, I could go there and ask for more details on room rental. Would anybody be interested?
