Question Need help fitting Maxx Trans...

Hey guys,

I am a a delima with my maxx right now. I want to go to a 3.3 transmission, but I don't know if will fit with all of the conversions and modifications I've done to the truck.

I was wondering if anybody with a 2.5R or 3.3 T-maxx in the Halifax/Dartmouth area would let me get my hands on theur transmission just to see if It would fit my truck.
I would just need to lay it in place on my chassis to see if it would fit to know if I can get one.
It would not be bolted in, and WOULD NOT BE RUN.
This would really be a lifesaver if anyone could help me, as I am at a dead end right now.

Thanks!

Are you putting hte 3.3 tranny onto a 2.5 chassis? Cuz the the tranny's are a direct bolt on.

I know that. But I'm running a BB chassis which I have modified to run different parts, far from stock.

I'm also running a BB motor and 1/8th clutch setup, swingarm brake leverage coming from a rear-mounted servo, Titanium center driveshafts that are a tight fit as it is, and so on. To be honest, except for the suspention layout and lower chassis, it isn't much of a T-maxx anymore.

Thats why I want to get my hands on a 3.3 Transmission. I want to know if it wil work with the Chassis/other driveline Mods I have done/added to the truck.

thanks,
