Naturally I reinforced a few elements but overall the construction and covering job was quite frankly better than I could have done. The flying characteristics were very scale like too, I had a lot of fun flying this model. The Chinese are getting better and better at this, no denying it. However the 60/90 size of this su-31 has some weaker components to watch out for, like the empennage.

Getting back to the topic that i acutally never left btw, Mike, i diden't knew that was ARF SU-31 and same as BH's!!, WOW you did some heavy stunts and manouvers with that one, i remember seeing you doing inverted flat spins and blenders!!, that was nice model, may be since it was your that's why , all kidding aside, it was good model...Do you still have it or it was sold to in your recent Move sale.....

Phoenix and Black Horse are the same.
I had the larger Sukhoi, never did build it.
The stab was very weak, it was a flat piece of soft balsa.
Funny, they gave a spare stab in the box, I was thinking that if the first one failed, a second stab wouldn't be much use!
Of course this was an easy fix, just add support wires.
The rest of the plane was pretty good, and looked great! A couple other spots were a bit weak, but easy to fix. And the landing gear was a bit soft.
