Question about Hitec 2.4

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
Hi folks,

I have a simple question to all those whom have used Hitec's 2.4 radios.

How is their system? Compaired to say.. Futaba or spectrum. I am currently looking at upgrading to 2.4, and it's a choice between Futaba or Hitec. However I can not find any info on the Hitec system and how it works.

Thanks folks

Re: Question about Hitec 2.4

Take a look at a web site called Radio Controlled Model Reviews. In the archives he has a good report on the HiTec system, among other things.

Hi

I,ve had my Aurora 9 for to years now ,....... just try and take it away from me .

I burnt 9 gallons of fuel ( glow ) , and 8 liters of gas last year , I,m just a seasonal flyer .

Very very simple radio to program , best bang for the buck .

But ,................. buy what youre consious tells you

Re: Question about Hitec 2.4

I have been looking at the A9, freaking sweet piece of electronics. The Eclipse 7 is nice, but the look of it has me a bit off..that honking huge screen at the top sticks out like a sore thumb. However, the deal of the tx and two rx for under $200 is wild.

Re: Question about Hitec 2.4

I have been using a couple Hitec Optic 6 radios on 2.4 with Optima RXs for a year and they have been working great

Re: Question about Hitec 2.4

Have a look at this site - the Hitec rates in the middle of the pack with good reviews for a midpriced system.
