Irvine Engines and Parts

I am looking for some more Irvine engines to add to my collection. Anyone with forgotten neglected under appreciated Irvine engines can send me a PM. I am also looking for misc parts.

Current need, carb parts ... Anyone have Irvine carbs or carb parts laying around? On this used engine I bought and just received the end of HS needle port is broke off. The needle should be fine if I can get the fragment out of it. The other part will unscrew from the carb to replace. That is the part I actually need. I believe this to be the jetstream 1850/1853 carb. One picture is of the broken piece. The other picture is a carb off a different engine to show what it is supposed to look like. Got one?

The engine runs good and smooth. However it of course leaks profusely out around the needle and does not set or hold a tune at all.

Re: Irvines

I prefer to stick with the oem parts on this one if at all possible. The original needle and jet are super fine thread so it makes tuning and hold a real pleasure. I really only need the one piece. I have a spare Perry carb that I could use, as a last resort.

Re: Irvine Engines, and Carb Parts

I have an old Irvine 150 (Red) that need a ring and piston , it was in a pattern ship I had. If you have an extra ring and piston I be interested in it or sell the hole thing for $30.00. maddog

Re: Irvine Engines, and Carb Parts

Hoping someone looks here and can help out maddog on the 150 parts. I know of a few places out there to get rings easily enough. The piston may be a tough find. Does it really need a piston or will just a ring refresh do the trick.

Irvine Engines, and Carb Parts

I managed to extract the busted bits of the needle jet this evening. I think Jack has the carburetor fix covered off with parts on the way here.

Crossing fingers.
