Well I have to say it...

It can't do aerobatics. It's slow as hell. It's surprisingly hard to fly. It's the only thing I own without missiles or bombs on it. It completely hates grass runways...

AND I LOVE IT.

I was so tired of seeing Cubs/Beavers/trainers at our field that I decided to try something very different. I ended up getting the Foam version of the A380 from Hobbyking. I was truly surprised at the quality. The foam is very nice and the details are done extremely well. It's also MUCH larger than I expected.

Having said that...this plane really should stick to tarmac for takeoffs. I am very lucky that our brutally rough field has one small section that is dried out and has little grass on it.

I had to change the landing gear to something a bit larger and I will be installing retracts on it now that I know it can take off on our very rough grass field. I will also be installing a full lighting system etc.

Ya I don't know what it is about airliners. Everything else I fly does 180MPH or faster and it's just nice to do something a bit different.

What a great sounding plane...I see 4 engine nacelles but does it have 2 or 4 engines? Is it a wiring nightmare with multiple ESCs and motors? I sure love the look of it!
