Pit Strategy

Well, since the a main for the 1/8th buggies is going to be 45 minutes, of course people are going to have to make pit stops. i would just like to point out that it might be good to get together with some one else(preferebly in the 1/10th aka monster truck class) to pit for you. also, on the saturday, you might want to practice pitty a few times so that your pitman is not running around like a chicken with his head cut off while your car is in the pits. just thought i would point this out so that no one forgets about it. if you need a pit man for the race, just post here and i am sure people would be happy to do it for you.

If you only pit 3-4 times in 45 minutes, chances are that would be more than a 125cc fuel tank.

I usually have to grab a pitman from the group, usually a rookie. so I make it simple. 5 minutes. that way in case they miss it for a lap or two, I am still good to go.
I had an awesome pitman this weekend past. I never qualified and started last. Still did the 5 min pits but he was keeping track of time and would tap my foot when it was time to come in. First time startled me and I flipped on a corner (had to look down, more used to guys screaming at me to pit lol) so good advice given to work things out beforehand...

oh ya, ended up lapping the field, this weekend though I tamed out for the last couple few laps and won this time lol

I'm pitting for fozy..(pitbiatching) in the 1/8th so assuming its not pandamonium and I'm not needed elsewhere I could pit during the monster truck race...(remember I have no experience...) expect nothing... ..I work cheap
