Yep - 25mm for a big twin. Likely more like 50mm for the smaller heads of the quad. I think the drop of the aluminum quad headers after the "Y" is around 70-80mm so should be easy to make up some little SS stubs that have a rise in them to get the drop back up to where it needs to be.

As for headers, just cut the aluminum headers off below the "Y" and fab up new 28mm SS headers extensions in whatever configuration/drop/rise you need and attach to the aluminum "Y" with a teflon coupler - you can get around any wingtube/LG interference issues this way.

I can help you fab up those 28mm SS stubs whenever you are ready. Curves, bends, straights, even flex peices... anything goes and sky is the limits. Just takes a couple hours to fab up whatever you need.

The 190 in the Suhkoi is the ultimate in airplane packages. Throwing it in a wooden ARF just seems wrong Very 1960's
