hobbico quick charger question?
I have two Hobbico quick chargers which do the same thing on NiMH batteries. They do the charging and then go into trickle charge mode, and the yellow light blinks. But at some time (I have not been there) a yellow and green blink alternately, what is this telling me? The packs are 6V 2000 Ni MH and I set the quick charger at 200 ma the lowest setting. I have not phoned Hobbico yet as I have better answers from the forms in all cases. Thanx abunch!

Re: hobbico quick charger question?
Hi,
If the LEDs are flashing red and green with the audible beep, then it means that the battery has been disconnected from the charger, or maybe connected to the charger in the reverse polarity. (Sometimes due to a broken/intermittent wire in my cable) I don't think I've ever see the yellow and green flashing alternately though. I've only seen the same color flashing after the charge is complete.

Re: hobbico quick charger question?
Both chargers do the same thing so I don't think it is connections. The red is the NICD charging and the yellow is NIMH charging. This only happens at the end of a charge I think, maybe after being on trickle charge to long? I have checked the temperature with a laser and it is a little over 100 degrees, so I do not worry. I think I will baby sit some day and find out what's happening. I charge a 2000 mah. @ .200 mah if it is NIMH. Thanks for the comeback it is appreciated.
