I recently read that the hellfire has no e clips in its suspension however i never read what they used in its place. Does any body know? is there any way to upgrade to this from e clips on a standard rc kit?

Everytin gon the hellfire is captured ends.. like grub screws, or parts that "capture teh eneds.. like on teh savage.. the main pins are trapped by other parts..

As for most other kits.. there probaly isn't a way to do it. as you would need to mod every part a pin goes into almost..

They're similar to what you have on the TTR S3 and the ST-1. Basically a small plastic cap traps the hinge pin between the brace/pivot block and the arm so it can't fall out. It also allows you to change the caster/anti-dive/anti-squat depending on which arm it's holding wwithout having to buy new pivot blocks.

The Hellfire doesn't use any grub screws to lock them in. But this is an option if you want to convert an R/C that uses e-clips. There's an article about doing this in a recent issue of Xtreme R/C.

No.....it is actually alot easier and faster to change rather than messing with e-clips........the GS SUT CE uses a captured hinge-pin set-up as well........

e-clips will soon become extinct.....

the inner hinge pin does have a grub screw that holds it in place, and the outer one is held in with screws. The cap traps refered to by Flyingblind are accentric bushings used to adjust rear anti squat, rear toe angle, front inboard angle and front kick up
