Or is the real issue you can only tune Ct?

Well.... The DA was used when I got it, has a considerable "Knock" when rocking the prop at TDC and Bottom..... Runs better when spinning a heavier CF prop. Is shy of poop on the plane its on, and really got sluggish when the fuel got down to the centre of the fuel tank.

Did find a spot where it may have been able to suck some air, I re-plumbed the whole thing. Will try it again when the breeze goes down to a dull roar (30km/hr) and the tractor (fuel hog too) stands me up from our date, it rains, or I run out of work (hard to do when you farm by yourself)!

The DLE was bought new and the only complaint was it is a thirsty SOB...... Way more poop and was on a draggy, heavier plane.....

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Brent, your DLE55 has given you great service. Change it out (only a suggestion).

But I don't understand the length problem. If you use the stand-offs in the airframe the blocks should both be the same length.
