US Team Qualification Process For World's 2018

Interesting to see how the US is approaching the qualification process for their World's Team for 2018. US Nats for next two years will play a big role, accumulated points from one or both Nats (2016 and 2017) leading to the top three from each category being selected for the Team. All scoring by Bennett Cup Rules i.e. pilot score percentage compared with perfection and no dropped sequences. Total 12 pilots.

Then each of the six IMAC Regions will use the Regional Points Series in 2017 to select the highest placing pilot from each category i.e. 4 pilots per Region. Total 24 pilots for a Team total of 36.

I will try to attach the PDF below. Also available on the IMAC site.

Re: US Team Qualification Process For World's 2018

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to take some time to read and consider the approach. I guess we need to put our process in place soon!

Hi Gordon - yes there are a few decisions to make. I think it is likely up to the SA Chair and SA Committee to discuss and propose a process.
