Hi Jim, I dont know who Steve Grey is, but is it possible to get any more plans? Or a scan of them? I dont knwo if I an ready to tackle this project yet, but I want to accumulate as much data as I can while I have access to the plane (for the next two years) I have emailed Martin, and yes, his planes wont be avail for at least a year or two. Also, Does anyone know the Name of the Guy (assistant airport Manager at Abbotsford, I think) who built a Buffalo a number of years ago? I remember reading a review in RCM, if memory serves

Steve Grey is a past Canadian National and International Scale competitorwho also happens to own Flightecraft Hobbies in Kitchener ON. Unfortunately, for Scale that is, years ago he went over to the Dark Side! No not Preccission Aerobatics, sorry Chad! , but worse... HELICOPTERS! I don't know if he has any more coppies available. The set I have is complete but very fain and would be hard to copy. Well the wing and fuse ar OK it's the two stabs that are iffy. All the formers and ribs are detailed on two seperate sheets though. PM me for more details.

But I don't know how to get in touch with him now. A few years ago I was a member of the flying tigers out in Hamilton (Mount Hope) and ran up to Kitchener now and then (I'm From Guelph) and bumped into a few of the kitchener memeber, but not any more. Is he a member here? Thanks again Jim, Rob Orme

The Wings and Tail Feathers are fairly complete. The Fusalage and Engine Pods are only side and top views c/w cross sections at given locations. While it will take a little engineering and bashing to get it to work, it should come in at 12 lb with Axi 2826/20 electric motors. I tend to build planes a little lighter than Martin. A lower wing loading results in a better flying plane. |
