EXTRA 260 vrs 300 vrs 330
Just wondering what the difference is between the different versions of the extra? Flight characteristics? Flying styles? Also, what size do you need to get for decent performance? Is 27% enough or do you need to go 33% or higher? I hear that bigger is better which is fine if money and vehicle is not an issue, but if you are value minded is there a point where size increase gives very little performanc increase?
Trying to gain a better understanding. Thanks Stefan |

One thing to remeber... just as in Golf... equipement can only help you so much. This past season we had two teenagers outdo quite a few guys in Basic, one was flying a 4*60 and the other was flying a Twist. So don't feel you have to buy/build a 33% model to compete. Buy/build what you can afford and then go and practice, practice, practice oh and don't forget to PRACTICE!

I get the hint ha ha
Gee, I have a 4* 40 and a twist plus a few others. I am just thinking ahead as I would eventually like to get a larger scale plane. I have the summer off. Last year I learned to fly (got my wings) so this year I would like to work on my flying. Now if I can just figure out how to read the diagrams to figure out how to fly the basic pattern. LOL
Just need the weather to co-operate as I am looking forward to getting out onto the field. Stefan |

Something to think about when you place a pilot in your plane (that is if you want it to look like a real plane! ) |
