Odd concept probably but here goes ...

Ok this method of deciding which jet to purchase might be odd but there is a method to my madness. Here goes ...

I have a bunch of 4S 40C 4000mah packs that need a "jet home" ... so my question is what airfram and setup should I get that would work really well with a 8S pack?

I know I know ... some parameters like motor etc are not mentioned but generally speaking .... who among you jet boys have REALLY good (read combo of fast and at least 5 min flights) set ups using 8S ... and what airframe jet is using that setup?

Thanks!

Colin

P.S. No foamies please!

Re: Odd concept probably but here goes ...

Check out Hobby King
Their L-59 would fit the bill along with a few other composite jets.
Don't know why you wouldn't consider foamies though. You will get a larger, better flying model with similar fan setups due to their lighter wingloading.
Cheers
