Do an ebay search for 13.8V power supply. Lots of regulated switching power supplys there. I've been using mine for 3 years now and it runs perfect.

I just purchased a 400W one for $60 shipped. I'm sure it also will run flawless. These are made for industrial robots so they are well made.

I use a power supply that was hooked up to a VHF radio. I put some banana jacks on the front, and a small cooling fan in it. It puts out 13.6VDC all day. Daren

Yes!

Well, almost. I don't use the deep-cycle battery, but depending on the charger I'm using, I've got a converted PC power supply that runs 12v to my Triton, plus a cigarette outlet.

I've got a 15v power supply that I got from a surplus place (I think it was originally for a satellite system) that provides up to 5A.

I've got a Crazy-tire portable car-charger that I take to the field for charging that has a cigarette lighter and inverter built in. Depending on what I'm charging, I'll use the cig. lighter for up to 3A draw, the inverter for a couple of wall-wart quick chargers that I have, and the big gator clips for 5A + charging.

I'm using a Xantrex Powerpack 300, a car jump-starter my inlaws gave me for xmas a few years ago. Free is bestest.

My 13.8 supply from my car racing days is buried in the basement somewhere.

If you are charging larger packs, or multiple smaller packs at the same time, ie: polyquest four. The power supply can often be limited by wattage not just amperage. You may have a high amperage charger but without sufficient wattage, you are only charging at a reduced rate, no matter what you select.

These guys are Canadian and have well priced power supplies. They also sell ammo boxes.
