Not picking on an individual but here is an example of what not to do IMNSHO

Title says wanted- 2 stroke engine

Body says Wanted NIB OS 25 or 30 two stroke..Now why could the title not read

Wanted 2 stroke NIB OS 25 or 30 ?

Then knowing I don't have one I can carry on with the other titles.

I agree. Like the titles that say "look at this" or "would you?" At least in your example the title was relative to the post. I've seen wanted ads that say nothing more than "wanted"

Humans in general, in the digital age, seem to have lost the ability to communicate in a logical fashion. Not sure if people are invoking a "faint hope" clause, by assuming that the most generic title will draw the biggest crowd, and they'll luck into a sale? It certainly tends to turn me off. If the title doesn't catch my interest, I'm not going to bother to check it out.

Agreed, agreed, agreed. This is a problem that I've come across in every web forum I frequent. I am much less likely to read a post if the title gives me no clue as to the content.

Sometimes it's just the fact that not all member's or people in general are computer savey.
Sometimes people are also a bit shy when they post as well. Other's are just lazy, like me. lol
