Truggy tires are the worst for needing to be balanced. some people use nuts and epoxy to stick them on. plasticine comes off too easy.

The gist of was that you make a simple balancing jig out of an old hub, bearings and axle stub. You mount up the tire + rim and spin it several times, marking the TOP of the rim on each spin. The clay then goes on the rim near the mark. It is an iterative process where you go through adding or subtracting clay until you get it right. You know when you have it "right" when for a fixed amount of clay the rim + wheel stops at a different point each try. Narly1 |
