You know ,.................. youre absolutly right ,.... we mechanics always overbuild things . Hence,...... thats why my planes always come out heavy .

I have this thing about building all typs of jigs .

I think youre right ,.... wayyyyy toooo complicated

I sure enjoyed building them

I like the ruler thing on it.

Not fancy. But practacle, and portable. It breaks down, I also have holes drilled in my table at the feild. The pivots, and pads are ussually in my cargo trailer. Easy to cheak CofG at the field. The idea is to have the pads distribute the weight of the airframe over 3 or more ribs per wing.

Hope some find this helpfull.
