Well, .... If your into kit bashing and dreaming at all like I am .... I sure would be thinking about putting a small turbine or a ducted fan in it. It could be kept really easy by going with an electric DF. there appears to be tons of room in it to do this.

Modify and use the front cowl as the air intake, the rear as the thrust tube, and the fan mounted in between in the heart of the fuselage. Would make this one even more unique and get tons of attention at the field.

Did I guess right? Do I get a cookie?

HA, , ,you got it Claude, the whole bag of cookies!!

The plane originally started life with a Ram 500.
But now it's in for a newer model.

Re: Identify this plane???

Gary Stronge, mould maker for Yellow Aircraft.

I've known Gary for many years. He passed away and his wife started selling off alot of his stuff.

Yes, it was sold by Kondor, but I didn't see it on their website.
It may be a discontinued model by them.

If anyone discovers the manufacturer that made this 88" ARF, that might be an option for getting a replacement cowl.
Last resort is to mould a new one.

Re: Identify this plane???

It appears that ESM Models sold it as well.

http://www.modelflight.com.au/rc_mod..._skymaster.htm

If anyone has the box laying around or the instruction book, it might show the manufacturers name on it.

Re: Identify this plane???

Spoke with Stans Fiberglass in the US.
Turns out that he's just starting to produce these cowls.
I've placed an order.

Thanks for helping to figure this out.

Yes, I flew it a few years ago on a buddy box with Gary Strong.
