I just got back from the field. Managed to get my other wing down, so at least I'm not out any electronics

Re: So today didn't go as planned

Maidened my CZC on floats yesterday....turned too slow with flaps extenended.....dropped a wing and death spiraled into the drink.....new floats & a replacement Talon 90 ESC later......sigh...

If you come home with nothing to fix, you haven't tried hard enough!

Re: So today didn't go as planned

Sounds like that Friday was a nice day for flying , but a lousy day for airplanes.. Went to Burlington with my trusty old Hobbico.. just for a couple of lazy flights and relax..

From take off roll to arrival with the ground about 10 seconds.. same thing got into some glare from the sun .. thought I was upright coming out of the first turn ,, pulled up... and I had a new kit to assemble..
