This is an awesome video thanks for sharing
The CNE Airshow is still going strong... Lots of quality flying, but nowhere near the risk of what was shown in the video for the Budapest airshow. Now, if you bring the Redbull Air Races to Ontario Place, I'm betting that'll draw a huge crowd!!!!

After Matt Hall hit the water in Hamilton (?) during a Red Bull race 3 or 4 years ago, I imagine transport Canada shut Red Bull down...

I hope not.. Because there were 2 incidents at the CNE AirShows which I witnessed, but they still let it happen annually. I'm sure they just tightened the rules around performances and safety.

I would really like to see the Redbull AirRaces at the CNE! I wonder how we can go abouts lobbying them to bring it here?

Nope,

#1 - Matt hit the water in Windsor.

#2 - The Event was run on both sides of the river and had to be cleared by US and Canada

#3 - After that season Red bull took a few years off to change the format for more even competition and safety improvements.

#4 - This year is a smaller format season to test those changes. Windsor/ Detroit applied to redbull but was not granted a race this year. As you can see here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Bul...d_Championship
Redbull moves the races around a lot and doesn't continually return to anywhere very often. Hungary and UAE are the only ones. Hungary becasue they allow the type of flying that close to buildings and has a very large turnout (revenue) and UAE becasue of the money involved.

Awesome Video BTW!!!!
