Where'd you get the foam

Matteo,

You may have answered this already, but where'd you get the foam? I've been trying to use poster boards with the paper peeled off but that's messy and really to thin, I end up having to glue two together to get some strength,
The hovering looks great, how's the flat spins on that creation? It looks like a winner! The charecters in my local club are just newly exposed to 3D Foamy flight, they're still flying QHOR's and PBF's with stinky, noisy, slimers on their snoots. Nice to see that there are people around who are more enlightened.

Chris's photography is good too, conveys the sport rather well I thouhgt.
If only hwe lived a little further West I'd have more inflight pics to post too.

If you want a depron (what I made the yak out of) or a fan fold plane just give me a PM. Ill cut the foam and ship it out just need to pay for the foam and shipping, I wont charge for labor, Im just that nice.

Im shure it wont cost much maby $20 for fanfold plane shipped and $30 for depron, but like I said PM me and we can make arangements.

foam slicing

oily: I just have to get my pics from Blacks - took a bunch of my foam slicer. I'll do a picture post "how-to" on it, cuz ya gotta go south of the 49th for fanfold , and Depron is $$$$$ I buy 2' x 8' x 2" thick blue styrofoam from Rona (~$20) and slice it however thick I need/want it.

Where i gety my depron the guy who sells it gives me good deals because I know him fairly well, but the more I buy the cheaper it gets. For 1 sheet around $12 a sheet so I figured that plus lets say $15 oversize shipping it comes ti around $27 add $5 in cardon fiber and there you go a $32 foamy.

For the Fan Fold it $5 a sheet plus that $15 shipping and a $20 then $5 in carbon again you get $25 foamy.

As you can see Im not making anything like i said befor. But $32 for a plane that looks like my Yak, I think thats pritty good.
