New Brunswick E Revo Brushless Shocks

Myself and a buddy both have the big E Revo Brushless edition, and are looking to upgrade the stock shocks on it. We are not sure what to get. We where considering piggyback shocks from Gmade or Integy.

With Gmade, they dont have 89mm shocks, which I believe is the stock length. They only have 85mm and 93mm. Not sure if either one would be ok.

With Integy, they look great, but I know most people don't like them for one reason or another.

Open to suggestions on new E Revo shocks.

Re: E Revo Brushless Shocks

Are you upgrading for looks? I thought the stock aluminum GTR shocks were well thought of: if you're unhappy with the handling have you tried changing springs or shock oil?

We where just looking to see if there was something better then the stock shocks as our trucks are put through alot. Big air jumps, backflips, flat landings ect. We dont have any shelf queens.

I am currently running stock springs and oil. Going to start with thicker oil.

The only thing you should upgrade or in my mind really need to upgrade on Revo is the RPM Arms all the way around.

Re: E Revo Brushless Shocks

The shocks are pretty good on those... if you are bottoming out try a thicker oil. Look through your manual should tell you what stock oil weight is. I know the summit is stock 50wt and im going up to 70wt in the rear to help with the rear sagging under throttle

Re: E Revo Brushless Shocks

Thanks guys.

I have ordered some Hot Racing 18lb springs, and will be using 60wt oil. Going to start there and see if I notice a difference.
